Watching this film of Kevin Liggett’s photography students rigging a huge scaffold and projection screen in the grounds of Rochester Castle in the hours before their degree show, it's hard not to think of sailors hoisting sail on the brink of a new outbound adventure. Twenty-five years later, it's just as hard to ignore the lack of harnesses, safety helmets and factor 50 sunscreen — and the temptation to draw a line between the hands-on immediacy of what you're watching and the attitude of the whole In Motion project itself.
